Spring Trimmer

The Tensor Spring Trimmer allows you to
quickly and easily make a clean, square cut without damage to
the next coil on your springs. This unit eliminates the need to
use oxy-acetylene or grinders to finish the ends of springs
after they are coiled. |
The Spring Trimmer's cutting head is mounted on a rigid and durable
work surface which is fixed to a trolley. The hydraulic pump unit,
hoses, accumulator, and electrics are all contained within the trolley
frame. The cutting head can be angled to suit the spring size and the
operator's needs and has a cutting time of 0.3 sec. The cutting action
is activated by a foot switch.

Each Spring Trimmer comes with one set of
tools. We will be pleased to quote on additional tool sets, but
to do so we will need additional information from you. Please
fax a list of the wire diameters you will be cutting and the
actual spring inside diameter(s) for each wire diameter. We will
then calculate the most economical tool set, eliminate
duplicates, and prepare a detailed quotation for your further
consideration. |
Spring Trimmers destined for use in the USA will all be equipped (at
no extra charge) with the OSHA kit. The OSHA kit consists of a covered
foot pedal to eliminate accidental cutting initiation and a plexi-glass
shield that covers the shearing area when the Spring Trimmer is not in
use.
