for high tensile wire, the inexpensive Damar 2990 enjoy wide
popularity. Compound lever design gives good mechanical

the 140 model fitting most comfortably into the hands of smaller
workers.

steel and heat treatment. Compound lever design gives good
mechanical advantage while the width and shaping of the handles
can help to avoid Carpel Tunnel problems in hands where cutters
are constantly being used. Cuts piano wire with handle loads
significantly less than conventional forged nippers of
equivalent size.

Designed to meet the demands of cutting very hard wire up to 200kg/mm2.
Handles are of tubular steel for light weight, with chrome vanadium
adjustable head joint bolts for cutting strength. An eccentric
adjustment allows blade realignment and spare heads can be supplied. The
three smaller sizes are fitted with clipper cut blades for closer
cutting requirements.
