AW Dynamometer, Inc.

AW builds a range of dynamometers designed to accurately measure and record torque, speed, and power of electric motors. These dynamometers are primarily designed to be used by motor rebuilders and rewinders to insure the repaired electric motors meet certain minimum performance criteria before they are place back into service.

Customer Installation:

Avonmore Electrical Co. Ltd. in Co. Cork, Ireland has two AW dynamometers (a Model I-300E and a Model I-900E) set end-to-end with one Model 1850E Stationary Electric Motor Test Stand positioned between the two dynamometers. This gives them the capability to load test motors from as small as 3.7KW (5HP) up to 671KW (900HP) using a single Test Stand by just orienting the motor toward the proper size dynamometer.
