January 2001
As we begin a new year, we have updated many parts of the web site (and will try and keep them up to date this year!) The schedule for 2001 has been added to the Calendar. Throughout the site are many small updates and corrections.

We are starting a new year of gardening! This should be our most exciting year yet as we will host our first Garden Walk on July 15th. There will be 3 private gardens along with the Ball Seed showcase gardens. If you haven't seen the Ball Seed gardens, you should definitely try and keep this date open - they are spectacular! |
Renewals are due! If you are a member that hasn't renewed, this is the time! Dues are over-due as of the meeting on February 9th. Remember, due to the expense, we can only send our monthly newsletter to members.
August 1999
A short history of the West Chicago Garden Club has been (finally!) added to the Who We Are page.
The date has been set for our first garden walk! It will be held on July 15, 2000. For more information on this and our other projects, see the Projects page.
In July we had a cookout for our monthly meeting and held our 2nd annual Posy Mosey. Photographs were taken and can be seen here: Cookout Photos & Posy Mosey Photos. If you want to know what a "posy mosey" is, take a look at our Who We Are page for more information.

The site has finally been updated with more current information! Our web master took a couple of months off for maternity leave, but she is back and is quickly updating our pages. Since there is something new on most of the pages, please take a few moments to browse around...
February 1999
The Start of our second year!
We began our second year with a "pot luck" meeting. Everyone brought an appetizer or dessert and it was all great! We started making plans for the year and began the 1999 Membership renewal drive.
October 1998
Elections for all board positions
Nominations for all board positions will be taken during the October meeting (October 15th, 7:00PM, West Chicago Library). The elections will be held at the November meeting.

T-Shirts Available for Members
We have Garden Club T-Shirts available to members only. The shirts are teal-green and with a stylized flower & watering can. The text reads:

The T-shirts cost $10.00 for Large and $12.00 for X-Large & XX-Large.
